My bank has recently started offering downloads in OFX format. I tried loading one, out of curiosity, but NeoOffice doesn't seem to recognize the format.
Any plans for adding this and other open doc formats in the future?

Thanks,

I have never heard of "OFX" format before. If you are talking about one of the Microsoft Office 2007 formats, then try renaming the file extension to .xlsx (Excel) or .docx (Word) for NeoOffice to recognize it.

It's short of "Open Financial Exchange".
Here's more info:

Don't know if it's just a financial industry standard, or Open Systems Institute supported. I know there are other similar industry-specific standards being developed by other trade groups, like insurance.

Only 1 bank I deal with is using it now, but it would be nice have some common format besides CSV.

It looks like it's actually a fairly old format, dating back to 1997.

OpenOffice.org or NeoOffice don't support that format. It's supported by Microsoft Money, or on the Mac platform, by applications such as Quicken, Numbers (iWork '08), or GnuCash (this one may run in X11; not sure).
