I used to use the really ancient MacCVS GUI, but it's kind of fallen by the wayside a bit. I haven't used the Carbon port, but they do have one available:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/maccvspro/

Apparently they've added ssh support too Smile

XCode also does have built in support for CVS in the "SCM" menu though I haven't used it yet myself. I've used the CodeWarrior MWCVS plugin, but it can be a bit bizarre. I guess that's because I'm used to (gasp) SourceSafe with MW integration. We even used it there about a decade ago. And I'm still stuck on it at work. Sigh.

As I rebuild servers I'm hoping to get CVSWeb or some other online tool working as well.

I assume you want one for Mac OS Wink

I have used a few - CVL is a faithful implementation (it wraps the GUI around the CVS command line) :

http://www.sente.ch/software/cvl/

But the one I use most, and IMHO is most Mac-like is MacCVS Pro (see Ed's link above). I currently use the v2.7d3 Carbon version (meaning you can use it both in Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS X). It is very stable IMHO, but has a couple of documented quirks, most notably it doesn't use the "CVS" folders in a compatible way with the command line version of CVS. However I believe a later version (perhaps less stable) of MacCVS Pro removes that limitation - I haven't checked.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Terry

I do use it, which in fact implies mixing GUI for everyday actions and command line for initial setup and specific operations.
This perfectly fits my needs.
