When I click on a cell that has either a coloured background or coloured text, it would be convenient if the colour palette could show the colour. I believe in Office products the colour has a dark box round it. Is it possible to implement this in Neo? Often I want this feature when I come back to a document and want to use the same colour in another cell. Currently, it is not possible to quickly see which colour I previously used.

Many thanks for a great product!

This is exactly what I came here to request!!!
This would be a perfect but simple extra.
If the color box could remember the last used color it would be so very handy.
I do a couple of spreadsheets and use quite a few color codes for text and background. I often find it hard to figure which color I used as the little color swatches are so close in shade. My poor old eyes I guess but this feature, which I was used to in a previous program when I used a PC, would be greatly appreciated, by at lest two of us Laughing

Yes, good point. This looks like a nice one for the newly resurrected New Features Programme.

Best wishes,
Oscar

FYI. Details about are proposed approach for choosing new features through a revived New Features Program is in the following topic:

http://trinity.neooffice.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6312

If we get a lot of posts from other people that are can confirm that this is a feature worth looking at, we can estimate how many votes we will need and can then add it to the New Features Program page when it goes live.

Thanks for pointing this out, I will keep my fingers crossed.
It is a small, slightly trivial request that make not seem worth the time compared to some others, but one never knows.
By the way, I forgot in my original post to say how much I love this program.
