PostPosted: Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:20 pm    Post subject: NeoOffice 2.2.5 translation request #2

After posting my translation request for the main web page in this forum topic, I have added some new text in the Features, FAQ, and Early Access pages.

If anyone has time, can you translate the following 3 sections? If you mark the links that are in my text with underlines in your translation, that would be a great help:

Secton 1: Features page

NeoOffice 2.2.5 includes nearly all of the features in OpenOffice.org 3.0 and includes many of the most commonly used features in Microsoft Office. Since stability is one of our most important goals, we wait until a few months after a new OpenOffice.org version has been officially released before we integrate the latest OpenOffice.org version's new features into NeoOffice. Because of this, the new features added in OpenOffice.org 3.0 are not in NeoOffice 2.2.5 but those new features will included in NeoOffice 3.0 Early Access which is planned to be released in November 2008.

Below is a list of some of the Mac OS X features requested by our users that are in NeoOffice 2.2.5 but are not in OpenOffice.org 3.0.

Section 2: FAQ page

Another reason that we stay separate is that we believe that we have produced a more stable product and we can provide a significantly higher level of Mac user support than OpenOffice.org can provide. Even though Sun Microsystems has added Mac OS X to their list of supported platforms starting with OpenOffice.org 3.0, our Mac OS X code has been in daily use by hundreds of thousands of NeoOffice users since 2003 and has proven to be extremely stable and, in some cases, to run faster than OpenOffice.org's much newer Mac OS X code. It required many years of programming and user testing to achieve NeoOffice's current level of stability and speed so we will continue to replace OpenOffice.org's Mac OS X code with our own Mac OS X code in future releases of NeoOffice.

Section 3: Early Access page

The NeoOffice 3.0 Early Access Program is planned to start on 15 November 2008

Thanks for all your help.

Edit: Changed "Since stability are" to "Since stability is"

Patrick
