As many of the regulars know, the www.ooodocs.org site seemed to have disappeared (again) a couple of weeks ago.
I would regularly try the above link without success.
I don't know why I didn't try this before today, but because OOoDocs.org is a SourceForge hosted site, it is logical to try the standard SourceForge home page for a specific project.
Lo and behold, [url]ooodocs.sourceforge.net[/url] is alive and well, and there are some new posts since the site went down.
I don't know what the actual problem is with the original URL, and whether the "new" site is going to be permanent, but you may want to visit.

I have taken over the ooodocs site and have been trying to track down the issues. I've been able to get in to backup the database and the like...the problem seems to be with the DNS. ooodocs is hosted on sourceforge, but the ooodocs.org domain belongs to someone else who has the server set up to forward to the sourceforge location. That's where the bottleneck is right now, not in the acutal backend stuff itself.
I think the DNS owner is scott carr, but have been away on vacation sporadically and unable to track down the issues precisely. In the meantime, you can go to:
It may be more reliable to try to get the links changed from the main OOo site to use the above instead of going through the up & down server providing the ooodocs.org domain.
