How do I activate the Thesaurus? It remains shaded and the standard cmd-F7 does not activate it.

Welcome to the NeoOffice 3.0 Early Access Program and the forums at trinity.

NeoOffice 3.0 Early Access does not contain the French, English US and English UK thesauri that should have been bundled with it. I have submitted Bug 3381 in Bugzilla so those will be added. You can add yourself to the cc: list of that bug if you are interested in following its progress.

To install a thesaurus other than those listed above, the Extension Manager must be used. To install a thesaurus, launch NeoOffice and select the Tools :: Language :: More Dictionaries Online... menu. There will be a variety of extensions, including some thesauri that can be installed.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please let us know if you have any other questions,

Thank you for the quick response. Would the dictionary and thesaurus likely be added in the next patch update?

It will depend on what is required to get these added. If Patrick can fix it in a patch, he will post a test patch in the bug for others to verify before anything official is released.
