If I create a new file in NO 2.2.5 and then save it as a Word file I get the following dialog:
Quote:
This document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in the Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP file format. Do you want to save the document in this format anyway?
- Click 'Yes' to save in Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP file format.
- Click 'No' to use the latest ODF file format and be sure all formatting and content is saved correctly.
[Yes] [No]
If I do the same in NO 3 EA2 I get the following:
Quote:
This document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in the Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP file format. Do you want to save the document in this format anyway?

[Keep Current Format] [Save in ODF Format]
Is this an intended or an accidental change? The 2.2.5 dialog seems more natural to me. The 3.0 dialog seems more appropriate to saving a file which has been opened from Word 97 etc. format.
The change in the dialog wording was made by Sun Microsystems' OpenOffice.org engineers.
Unfortunately, our very limited funding and developer resources limits the current scope of the NeoOffice project to keeping a native version of OpenOffice.org running on Mac OS X and fixing OpenOffice.org bugs is outside that scope and as such we do not change any localized text created by OpenOffice.org engineers or volunteers.
