Just wanted to mention that there's a new item (from the oo-build folk) in NeoOffice v3, in the Formatting toolbar for Calc - 'Toggle Grid Lines for Current Sheet' - and it could use an icon, if anyone fancies coming up with one. I've used uno:Grid, but it's not as pretty as all your replacements Smile. Note that it's a 'toggle' icon, so it shows as grey when the grids are showing, and white when they're not, so it needs to be contrasty to be obvious.

I'm sure Armando or I could come up with something without too much trouble. The big problem is transitioning the icons to 3.0 - renaming and moving the files to match the new folder layout, discovering what's new and in need of an icon in 3.0, then testing it all.

I'll bet - that sounds like a nightmare (I remember all the filenames-as-strings-of-numbers from back in the good old Neo-Iconer days...

Is there any way I can help with this? I have some time on my hands at the moment. I don't know what's involved, but I'm a quick learner Smile.

Padmavyuha, if you could spend some time tracking down what icons went were in the big OOo2->OOo3 renaming/moving fiesta, and make a list of what icons we have to rename/move and what icons we need to newly construct, that would be immensely helpful.

Once there is a clear to-do list, we can move on to making pretty icons.

If it is OK with Patrick, I will be happy to send you a compilation of the e-mail traffic on this so far. If you'd like to help with this, please send me a PM wioth your email address.

best wishes,
Oscar

No problem. Definitely share the image list files with anyone might need them.

Thought it was time to put this topic to use. Wink

I'm learning to use a vector graphics application and as a challenge I'm recreating the NeoOffice globe as a vector image to complement the ship, which apparently has a vector source file. I thought it might be useful in future for 512px icons and printable logos. Does anyone have the ship's vector source file and/or is it in CVS?

The original ship.psd file is in CVS in the following folder:

neojava/etc/package

I don't know if the PSD file is 100% vector graphics, though.

Apparently just Dan (foxcorner); I thought that it was in CVS in addition to the composite PSD, but given Patrick's reply, I guess not.

I'll ping him about it; please remind me in a few days if I haven't posted back.

Smokey

Nudge.

I haven't actually made any progress on my side but I'll have some time to look at it again soon.

Thanks, Armando. Just got around to doing a quick test. Looks good to me.

Patrick and Ed: Armando's updated package can be used for future builds. Cool

I have integrated the latest icon set into the build. I performed a test build and installed it and the icons look OK. Are there any specific icons that I can look for to verify that I really have the new icons?

In the Draw Module, the arrows of the small icon set might seem crisp. Smile
