With a master document open, in the navigator window the flag icons will now be red instead of OOo purple ones. The helper agent now looks like an OS X Assistant. |

I can confirm that I see those in my test build. BTW, I really like the new help agent "tuxedo" icon.

Does that mean that we finally got rid of the light bulb? That would be awesome! |

The butler can change the light bulb from now on. |

Howdy,
A few things about the intro splash have been bugging me for a while, so what with the talk of a 2010 EAP, I thought I would do a little spring clean. I've sharpened the text rendering and made the icon reflection much nicer (comparison of old to new attached.)
I'll bundle these up unless there are any thoughts/complaints. |

The text looks much easier to read in your latest version. Also, thank you for reminding me that the next release will need to have 2010 as the copyright date.

Thanks Daniel. I have checked in your latest NeoOfficeAquaElements.zip file to our code repository so it will be included in the NeoOffice 3.0.2 Early Access release at the end of this year.

Apparently just Dan (foxcorner); I thought that it was in CVS in addition to the composite PSD, but given Patrick's reply, I guess not.
I'll ping him about it; please remind me in a few days if I haven't posted back. |
With the tools available to me, I wasn't able to create the globe as a vector file. However If it's of any interest, I've used a combination of vector and bitmap tools to create a Photoshop reproduction of the globe at 5000 pixels, or roughly 600dpi...
Now I just need that ship. |

If you do not have the ship's PSD file, you can download it from anonymous CVS here.

Thanks Patrick, but the PSD is a bitmap at 256px that cannot be scaled up without loss of quality. Apparently foxcorner is the only person who has the source vector file. This isn't really a big deal, just seemed a "nice to have."
I can PM foxcorner to see about it, unless Smokey would like to reach out to him. |

Didn't the original source for the ship come from Ed? |

No. The old single color brown ship was created by Ed from a bitmap scan of a public domain map. In contrast, the color stylished ship was created from scratch by foxcorner.

I contacted foxcorner. The original ship is the one in the PSD - there is no vector source file. When I have a moment, I'm going to take a look at how difficult it will be to scale up and re-master the ship's bitmap. |
