how to install a norwegian dictionary (or two)?

I have downloaded the dictionary files for norwegian, from openoffice.org but where to install on osx x11 OOo? The localizer apps are not for norwegian yet, so this have to be done manually I guess. Anyone got some hints? In newbee language please! Question

Yes, the localizer doesn't support norweigan as there wasn't really a good way to configure the locales in IA.

To install a foreign language dictionary, follow the instructions at:

http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/download_dictionary.html#installspell

(that's the "Non-automated dictionary install" instructions if the link doesn't take you directly there...it's about 1/3 of the way down the page). Those are the actual steps the OOo localizer takes to install the dictionaries...simply copy them in, and modify the text file indicating the new language is present. You'll still need to activate them within OOo itself.
