About a month ago, while fixing a bug in Trinity's phpNuke code, I fixed the broken languages listbox in the bottom left corner of this site.

Although many of phpNuke's messages are translated to non-English languages, I was curious if anyone is setting that language listbox to a language other than English.

If so and you see any obvious missing translations, let us know and Fran or I can put them into the phpNuke code.

I normally keep the forum set to English, but I set it to French just now, to take a look. When I reset the language, I'm sent to what I think of as the "news" page, with a series of posts/announcements, not the forums. I can navigate back, though.

The bar with Forum FAQ-Search-Usergroups-Profile-No new messages-Log out icons is still in English.

The Donors, Trinity, RSS Feeds, Download NeoOffice, and Other Websites boxes on the left are all in English.

The "Who's Online" box is in French, except for the title, which is still in English. (Based on the French text below it, I'm think it should be "Qui est En Ligne?").

The same is true for the Languages box (title should be "Langues").

All the text on the "Post a reply" page is in English.

Is that the kind of info you wanted?

Not exactly. I wanted to know if anyone uses the localized pages regular and, if so, can they help translate.

FYI. I have fixed this by changing the Trinity configuration to make the forum index page the "home" page. The default in the phpNuke software is for the news page to the be the home page.

Ed, I, and Fran have always wanted the make the forum index page the home page and today I finally figured out how to do it so now changing the language or clicking the Home link on the left sidebar will to the forum index page.
