Thanks again for adding support for Mountain Lion's dictation feature.

Unfortunately, I've found a bug in it. NeoOffice is not recognizing the "New paragraph" command.

In other apps, if I say the following:

"This is a test of new paragraph the dictation feature"

I will get the following output:
Quote:
This is a test of

The dictation feature

But in Neo, I get
Quote:
This is a test of the dictation feature

The serve Apple uses translates the words "new paragraph" into some sort of command/text that most apps recognize, but Neo does not seem to. OpenOffice uses manual line breaks rather than new paragraph markers, but Text Edit and Pages use new paragraph markers.

Granted, there is a bug on Apple's side, as two new paragaph markers are being inserted instead of one, and this is consistent across apps that recognize those markers.

I can reproduce this as well. NeoOffice is receiving the "newline" characters from the Apple's Dictation service so apparently I need to find out what is causing the OpenOffice.org code to ignore those newline characters.

I will post a test patch when once I have a fix for this.

Try speaking "new line" instead of "new paragraph". In TextEdit, "new line" does not insert a blank line.

I think that I have fixed this bug and now speaking "new paragraph" and "new line" works (well, at least when the Apple Dictation service doesn't think those words are part of a sentence).

Can you install the following test patch and tell us if this bug is fixed for you?:

FYI. I have included the fix that was in the previous test patch in NeoOffice 3.3 Patch 3. The patch can be downloaded from the NeoOffice 3.3 patch download page.
