Patrick,
Thanks for all the hard work. I run a large SQL Server database and am starting to us Base for queries and reports instead of MS Access on Parallels. The ODBC connection is smooth.

I will keep my contribution going.

Thank you for your kind words. A lot of thanks really should go to OpenOffice.org engineers. They wrote most of the Base code that we have included in NeoOffice and, thanks to their work, we had to make very few changes to their code to make Base run reliably on Mac OS X.

It is good to hear that using an ODBC driver to connect to your database is working smoothly. Apple has been slowly removing Java support from Mac OS X so using an ODBC driver is a good way to "future proof" Base against broken JDBC drivers when Apple eventually stops providing Java downloads.
