What fun.
I'm sitting on a train outside Peterborough (about 50 miles North of London, England) browsing Trinity through the on-train Wi-Fi network.
Astonishingly easy to set up on my iBook (ie nothing to do at all except type in the password.)
Still shockingly expensive, 5 GBP/hour unless travelling first class (then it's free), so I'm only using the free trial. Not as fast as the 1MB broadband at home, but vastly better than nothing.
And I have got NeoOffice/J open as well for some work.

Heh - this brings to mind the Nintendo Gameboy poster campaign from the 90's: "Wherever you are, be somewhere else" - before you cough up for the paid service, get it in writing that it'll work passing through Slough...

Don't knock it - T-Mobile hotspots are my only lifeline to internet access on m Mac at the moment N.B. Download speeds aren't bad, but uploading is bordering on being as slow as dial-up.
You can pay £45 for 30 days access for what its worth - I'm hoping that is non-contiguous usage (e.g. 30 days total online time, not simply 30 days running from the time you first logged on) but I doubt it - the T&C's are distinctly unclear on this point - pah!. _________________ PBG4, 1.5GHz, SuperDrive, 1GB RAM, 128MB VRAM, 5400rpm 80GB HD, MacOS X 10.4.5
