Posted: Mon Mar 10, 2014 9:45 pm Post subject: Bug when Mavericks titlebar popover window is displayed
While test my fix for this version browser bug, I noticed that in Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, Apple changed the behavior of the titlebar popover menu.
With the new behavior, clicking on the downward arrow next to the document name in the window's titlebar displays a popover window like as shown in the first screen snapshot below. The bug is that when certain types of windows are displayed such as tooltips and dialog windows, the popover window would go blank like in the second screen snapshot below.
I found what causes the bug, but it is a Mac OS X bug so I fixed it in the following test patches by forcing the popover to close or, in the case of tooltips, suppressing display of the NeoOffice window:
