PostPosted: Tue Nov 20, 2018 6:35 am    Post subject: NeoOffice 2017.14 available in the Mac App Store

We have released NeoOffice 2017.14 in the Mac App Store. Mojave users: native Dark Mode is enabled by default. To disable this feature, check the NeoOffice > Mac Options > Disable Dark Mode menu item.

This version of NeoOffice fixes the following bugs:
  • When running in macOS Dark Mode, NeoOffice would display text in a selected tab in an inactive window as white instead of dark gray
  • NeoOffice would crash when printing certain documents in Writer
If you already purchased NeoOffice in the Mac App Store, you can upgrade to NeoOffice 2017.14 for free. To upgrade, launch the App Store application, select the Store > Sign In menu item, login using your Apple account, click on your user name in bottom right corner (Mojave) or the "Purchased" icon (pre-Mojave), and press the download icon (Mojave) or the "Install" button (pre-Mojave) next to NeoOffice.

If you are currently using NeoOffice 2017.14 Professional Edition, you do not need to purchase NeoOffice from the Mac App Store. NeoOffice 2017.14 Professional Edition already includes the fixes for the bugs listed above.

PostPosted: Sun Jun 23, 2019 6:40 am    Post subject: Problems with exporting a chart to an image file?

NeoOffice 2017 is based on the LibreOffice 4.4 code. Because earlier versions of NeoOffice were based on the much older OpenOffice 3.1.1 code, some users have found that they are no longer able to export a chart in a spreadsheet document using the File > Export menu item.

To help simplify upgrading to NeoOffice 2017, we have added the following workaround for exporting a chart in the NeoOffice 2017 Upgrade Issues NeoWiki article:Other NeoOffice problems? Try these steps:
