Hi all,
It seems we'll have a little problem in the near future.
Mac OS X uses a Cmd+Space shortcut to switch keyboard languages (example betweem Russian and English). To use an unbreakable space one normally uses Shift+Option+Space).
But in OpenOffice (Windows) Ctrl+Space = unbreakable space. Because under X11 Mac version Ctrl=Cmd, Cmd+Space=unbreakable space.
Currently X11 doesn't support this shortcut to switch keyboards and one ust use the mouse. But in the future the problem will happen.

Yes, this is very true that the keybindings will be in conflict. Unfortunately, since my three key modifier patch was declined by OOo (!@#$!), there's no way to distinguish between command and control at the moment. There are also some other reserved keybindings which we need to be aware of:
AFAIK OOo in general is happy as a clam using its own keybindings everywhere, and that will need to change. The keybindings are actually stored on a per-document basis (why that decision was made, I'll never know) so the OOo OS X filters will need to be able to substitute keybindings on the fly or warn users about invalid ones and ask them to change them.
