At what point in the process are you? It should be pretty straightforward to grab the NeoJ sources and they're pretty small.

As part of the build process, NeoJ has to connect to the OpenOffice.org CVS servers to download the OpenOffice.org source code and build it. The OOo anoncvs server is unfortunately not terribly reliable. Even on my connections which are fairly solid I usually can't get through a full checkout and have to re-execute it about 3-4 times.

Let me know if the Neo CVS server is the problem, however, as it does run out of swap space from time to time and needs a hard reboot. Patrick can attest to that.

Its not the NeoOffice CVS server, its the OpenOffice CVS server. And it just might be my connection that is causing the problem. I'm still trying to get the checkout completed.

Nope, chances are it's their servers and not your connection. I cheat on my own checkouts and use a secure connection to the main OOo cvs server since anoncvs is so flaky there. Just keep on trying and eventually you'll get it Sad

If you still have a boatload of problems I can see if I can get a tarball of my OOo source checkout for you.

I think that I'm up to over 100 sub-directories in the /build directory. Whew! I just wish that I could connect to the network where I work, but that is definately a serious can of worms (and I could find myself suddenly unemployed or worse.)

What is the number of directories in the /build directory? (Or if you wish, send it to my NeoOffice private mail box.) GOT THEM ALL, finally. However, I get a message about the X11 Development Libraries not being installed. I went to the developer.apple.com site and all I can find now is the X11User files.

Here is the last couple of lines from Xterm:

checking for X... no
checking for XOpenDisplay in -lX11... no
configure: error: X Development libraries not found

Any ideas and any help?

Thanks again

James
