Does anyone have hsqldb working with NeoOffice/J? I have followed the procedure in at http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net/doc/guide/apd.html and so far have arrived at the point where I see a "java/sql/Savepoint" error message. Where do I go from there? |

The java/sql/Savepoint error usually occurs when you use a JDBC driver that does not support Java 1.3.1. Neo/J uses Java 1.3.1 so if you use a JDBC driver that requires Java 1.4 or higher, you will likely have lots of problems. |

http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net/doc/guide/apa.html says you are right, and I would have to either fall back to an older version or rebuild this one. I wonder if using MySQL might be a better choice. |

And the build script will only work produce 1.4 code. All right, then. Time to try MySQL. |
