on top of that, i need to fix the links on the main page.

and i never got the templates to work. but as long as the site works that is a start.

and i really really really X 10,000,000 miss broadband.

I hear you on the broadband. I really miss university subsidized broadband meself....

I updated the link in the "Other Websites" block here on trinity. Please inform if I need to update anywhere else. Again, thank you so much for taking care of our wiki. It's an incredibly useful addition to our online community Smile

Hmm, now I can't find anything about the templates (I swear I saw something about them when I was getting distracted moving/updating content)....

Is the old one (archive) online? I'd like to check those last handful of pages (or at least their edit dates) that I didn't get to the other day.

Anyway.... Good to see it back up and live for folks Smile We can fix the little things eventually. Thanks Jake!

Smokey

Seems that it redirects to a page that loses the /neowiki part....

Anyway, I remember neowiki.sixth... better Smile

Of course, now every reference to wiki articles here in the fora are bad, but I'm not going to go through and edit all of the ones I've made. I tried that after I reorganized my neo and ooo stuff on my .Mac and it was a real pain (had to use google because the phpBB search ignores links!).

Anyway.

So, I've gone and checked/updated the Neo/C and More info sections. When Waldo redid the Neo/C section structure, we lost the better part of "Why are we doing Neo/J instead of Neo/C aka Carbon/Java vs Cocoa" stuff, so I added that to the Neo/J FAQ (with a link to it on the IsNeoCActive page). Some of the questions now can probably be combined since we were saying things slightly differently twice, once on each page.

Anyway, the migration of content is now complete. The new wiki is as-up-to-date (in fact, more up-to-date) than the old wiki! Big thanks to Jake for all the heavy lifting infrastructure/admin-wise and Waldo for moving all of the content across originally!

Good night, and stay warm!
Smokey

Edit: here's the Wiki css reference: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_styles

If you have a Bugzilla account, I can add you to the list of people that can be assigned to bugs.

i tried to get one, but it didn't work, i'll try again in a bit and let you know if i suceed.

though, webstuff should probably be addressed some other way than bugzilla, as to not distract from the main work.

?

there is a bugzilla in place for neo/j, which someone put a comment about the website in (which is what i was talking about)

as for the wiki itself, we just fill it in as we go, pulling stuff mostly from the questions here at the board, but sometimes we find new and interesting things to add... =)

so if you want to contribute, grab a username, pull up a keyboard and go for it.

The wiki links to Bugzilla from the "Reporting Problems" page of the Neo/J section.

Bugzilla does tend to go down from time-to-time (checked the Fuzked Servers forum here on trinity, usually, for status updates), so that might have been what happened to you earlier Smile
