Thank you so much for making this product! How come nobody knows about it yet? For instance, you have no listing on versiontracker.com.

I have been using OOo with X11 for some time.

I just downloaded NeoOffice/J 0.0 and ran it for the first time. Observations:

1) How can I select a printer? It won't let me print.
2) I have a two-button Logitech mouse with a scroll-wheel. NeoOffice/J won't let me right-click, and neither can I summon a contextual menu with a control-click. Basically there are no contextual menus at all, despite their universal presence in OOo. Can this be fixed soon?
3) No support for the Delete key (as opposed to the Backspace key) on full-101 keyboards. I can't live without my Delete key.
4) Font smoothing onscreen looks great until you realize that it only works with plain fonts. Neo/J does not display or use real italics, bold, or bold-italics fonts. It merely takes the plain font and slants it or thickens it., and it appears to ignore the font metrics of the italic, bold, bold-italic fonts as well. Is a fix for true font style support coming soon?

I know this is just a proof-of-concept but you've done a wonderful, wonderful thing here. Please take heart and convince the rest of the OOo organization of what a significant contribution you are making!

Hi Wheat,

I think, you should thank Patrick Luby, too. He's the guy who wrote NeoOffice/J Wink

And have a look at this article: http://trinity.neooffice.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=134 . He addresses some of your problems.

Yeah, for NeoJ definitely direct the thanks to Patrick, not to me...thus far I've done nothing for NeoJ, something I need to make time to change Sad Ah, I wish I didn't have to pay bills...

Hey Patrick...perhpas you should change the post title Wink
