A couple of times recently when I have installed OOo 1.0.3RC2, after installation, I have noticed a file "tmp.tmp" in my home directory. The file appears to be the OOo install configuration XML file. I thought at first it was me, as I was copying stuff to /tmp at the time, and might have mistyped the path. But I think it is the fix_installation.sh script doing this.
Not a big problem, but I would have thought this file would be removed by Installer cleanup.

Bingo, yes this is a problem. The ~/tmp.tmp line is a mistake, and is straight out o the fix_ooo_installation.sh script. Typo...the redirection of the perl output should go to the install folder, not the home directory.
Thanks!!! Dude, thanks so much for finding all these things I'l glad that I couldn't get the font stuff working right last night now for sure
