Hi Ed,
since your last server-downtime i'm not able to log in with my account "schlesi" When I use the "Forgot password"-button, I didn't the my password via email.
Please have a look at my account.

No worries. The "password as e-mail" stuff is most likely broken since I need to rewrite it to use SMTP, and I know I only rewrote the registration routines and not others (e.g. "Notify when a reply is posted" feature, newsletter, etc.). PHP's mail commands don't work due to how OpenBSD sandboxes apache. I'll try to get to it this weekend.

OK, I fitted the lost password routines with appropriate PHP code...give it another try and see if you get the e-mail with the new password & URL etc.
For the curious, it is replacing the PHP "mail" command with an SMTP server class.

Hi Ed,
the "forgot-password"-function does still not work. May be you could send my password to schlesix@gmx.de "manually"?

Meanwhile, I've remembered my accounts' password.

Nifty on the rememberance...but for other users who forgot (woody/wadel1!) please try again. I turned on the monitor of the server today for the first time in a week after getting some SQL errors from the bbs and noticed out of disk space messages from sendmail...this may explain why the password mail was never sent. Sorry!
I cleaned off logs and the like (man whod'a'thunk a 1GB HD would be small someday!) and it should behave better for lost password e-mails (or registrations!).
