| I have recently installed OOo and got "can't find x11 app" went into preferences in the start open office menu and set the path to x11. Every time I do this and save it it automatically reverts to xDarwin as the preferred app. How can I get it to stay on x11? |

(note: I moved this to OOo X11 Support which is the right place for the question).
Did you change the setting for the "Preferred X Window Server" in the Preferences? You may also want to try deleting the Start OOo preferences and starting over. Check out page 29 of the "Start OpenOffice.org ReadMe.pdf" file in the Documentation folder.
