Hello

I have a large excel file that I tried to open with NeoOffice. When I do, I get the error message that "the max number of rows were exceeded and the excess rows were not imported".

Is this a limitation that will be fixed in future releases and/or is there a way around it?

Thanks for your help

Ian

OOo currently has a limitation of 32000 rows (I believe). This is shared by all OOo 1.x builds.

It will not be addressed until Neo/J moves onto the OOo 2.0 codebase, which will be quite some time from now.

Until then the best bet is to limit your spreadsheet sizes to 32000 or less. I believe Excel is limited to 64k rows in the BIFF format, although I may be incorrect as to later versions of Excel's file format on which I can't really find too many details.
