I haven't seen as much of that between Sun and OSS myself, but then again it's a slightly different situation. Neo is such a small percentage of the code of a very large product that a lot of the work doesn't overlap, even moreso since Sun isn't officially supporting Mac OS X for OOo/StarOffice in an engineering capacity.
