Is there a way to open Appleworks 6 files directly in NeoOffice?
At present I am opening them in AW and saving as MS Office or Excel, and then opening in NeoOffice.

There is no AppleWorks import or export in Neo/J or OpenOffice.org.

That's what I've been doing. I tried the 4 different MS formats but none are great: all lose the cell number formats, any charts, backgrounds, and bold* (the important bits, like numbers and formulas are fine). I suspect these attributes are lost at the AW end.

Luckily I only have a few to convert, so don't mind fixing them manually!

*Bold might be getting lost because the source spreadsheets are using Geneva and apps like TextEdit won't bold that font.
