Can somebody please advise how (in detail) a newcomer can import a French dictionary/thesaurus into NeoOffice 2 and also where to find one to import. Maybe I need to know also how to change betgween it and my English language dictionary. Thanks

There is no NeoOffice 2 (yet).

As for OpenOffice 2, you can use the dictionary installer wizard (DicOOo) that comes with the program.

My error. I meant NeoOffice 1.1. Can you tell me how to import that DicOOoo which I have now discovered in OpenOffice2 into NeoOffice 1.1?
My effort crached my Mac.

The dictionary is already present; you just need to set up Neo/J properly to activate the dictionary--no need to worry about bugs and crashes in DicOOo.

See Activating Dictionaries in the wiki for instructions on how to activate the dictionary for your preferred language or additional dictionaries.

Smokey:

Thanks for the great, simple advice. It seems to work OK and I am grateful.
