I have been checking some of the IP's posted against some I have had to ban as a mod at another forum they seem to be doing the rounds. Possibly script kiddies with nothing better to do than cause havoc.

steluta is actually a registered user, so it needs to be disabled or whatever.
IP is 217.26.168.7. Jake edited the post, but I suppose it can just be deleted.

I've had to delete two similar spam posts from IPs 62.31.93.139 and 85.151.12.163
Interestingly, both spam posts were posted in topics related to the donation system ("Trying to donate unsuccessfully" in NeoOffice Support and "Upcoming changes to donation system" in Random Whatnot) ... |

We have been getting continually hit by some type of new spambot that autofills the existing anonymous posting question.
Guest posting is right now temporarily off until we change the system. Guests can still view, but only registered users can post. I will update as my progress on upgrading the forum continues today.

OK, so I added in a captcha system yesterday, but it still didn't stop the spam so I disabled guest posting again. I added in more tweaks today to the PHP with some additional tracking so hopefully this allow guest posting to be re-enabled without all the horrid porn spam.
Please note any issues you see here, or in this topic.
