Hello,
I'd like to write a text documents in czech, I download the Times New Roman fonts, but there are some incompatibility with the mac keyboard layout. I cannot write czech diacritic. What I have to do? Thank you, user
What version of Mac OS X are you using, and which X11 version? There are known bugs with 10.4 and Apple X11 that break most non-English keyboard layouts. (Not that the non-English keyboard support in OOo was ever stellar with Apple X11 1.0 or the other X11 implementations).
You can always use the insert special characters option, but that's not very helpful for real use....
NeoOffice/J has much better support for international keyboards, but there's a bug in Mac OS X 10.4 that apparently breaks the Czech and Slovak keyboards (we haven't gotten good information yet to track it down and figure it out)
Sorry there's not better news to report
