Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

Right now I've got OroborOS X v0.8b2 on my machine and it launches happily with Apple X11 Beta 3. My installation order was XFree86 first, then Apple X11. Note I haven't tried it with XFree 4.3, since on my current box I installed Apple X11 over 4.2. That said, I think OroborOSX focuses on rootless mode and doesn't run in full screen mode, which wouldn't help in the presentations Sad

On the flip side, XDarwin doesn't want to launch on my machine on its own (version 1.1.0.1, from XFree 4.2, or the modified 1.1 embedded inside oroborosx), but I've heard rumors that it's possible to coax it to work. Anyone succeeded?

I have combinations of XDarwin/XFree86 v1.1.1.1/v4.2.1.1 or v1.2/v4.3.0, and OrboroOSX v0.8b2 or v0.8.5, working on several configurations.

I used to have a combination of XDarwin/XFree86 and X11.app working together on one configuration, but currently XDarwin crashes on launch (X11.app is fine) - probably some upgrade somewhere that broke it. I believe the trick is the installation order, and doing a custom install of X11.app. If I figure it out, I will post here.

Regards, Terry
