I got as far finishing install converting fonts, then it stuck on converting Lucida.sh. So, I decided to uninstall OpenOffice.org and got an error message"Uninstallion could not complete due to an error". I am reluctant to just put into trash can. What to do?

Yes, you can just drag the OpenOffice.org1.1.2 folder from /Applications to the trash. I don't think anything else is intalled outside of that folder by that point in the install process--except the dlcompat(?) libs on 10.2.

There's a FAQ explaining how to stop/work-around the "hanging fonts" problem...or you could just install NeoOffice/J, which requires no font conversion at all Smile

Don't forget that if you need you can still have both OOo and Neo installed side by side and they won't conflict with each other. Great for testing or if you need to keep multiple versions hanging around Smile
