This is a complete newbie question most probably:

How do I move the cursor to a tab stop within a table in NeoJ? Using the tab key moves the cursor to the next cell and any combination of Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Apple + Tab didn't move the cursor to the next tab stop.

What's the trick?

In NeoJ with patch 1.8 (i.e. the most recent patch in the java 1.4 implementation of NeoJ still being tested - due to become NeoOffice 1.2 alpha next month, complete with OOo 1.1.5 codebase), typing alt-tab puts in tabs in my writer docs' table cells. (I don't have a version of the java 1.3 NeoJ to try it on.)

[Alt+Apple]+Tab does it for me on the current release (I'm not as brave as Yoxi on the patches) so should work for you.

(The square brackets are an attempt to indicate 'hold Alt+Apple and while holding them down press Tab' : I found if I didn't get all the keys down together I started cycling through my open applications as Apple+Tab got to work.)

Smile Alt is called "Option" on Macs, and the Apple/Swedish symbol for interesting location key is called "Command".

It's one of those little Apple touches; Cmd is used for sending/invoking commands, and adding Opt gives you another option when doing so (or an optional character, when Opt+letter Smile

Though Apple has added a little "alt" to the option key and never taken away (or took away and added back) the Apple on the command key Smile

Aren't Macs fun? Even the keys are Smile
