Anyone else out there unable to post while logged in? I keep getting the "you can't post so soon after your last post, so please wait a little bit" message while logged in, even though I haven't posted since 6:30 EST tonight Sad

I've noticed the "new" (orange) posts don't ever become not new, either, after I've viewed them. I've logged out, deleted cookies, tried another browser, switched IPs, and still can't post Sad

But anon posting apparently works. Sad

Oh, but sending PMs works, as does posting on trinity stories...just not forum posting Sad

Hmm, the timezone seems *really* off. It says my above post was made at 1:41 pm GMT -7 Nov 1 (which is like 3:41 pm EST/GMT -5), and it's really 12:15 am Nov 2 EST now.

Well, I can post again, but times are still out of wack...nearly 12 hours behind where they should be Confused

Thanks for fixing the important thing, though, Ed!

There was someone from Japan completely slamming the server, so I eventually blocked them and got things back to normal a bit. I don't think it was a worm, probably more like an aggressive spam e-mail harvester.

The times are off since, for some reason, ntpisn't syncing properly. I spent some time yesterday (in betewen Star Wars viewings...) to try and track that one down, but I didn't see any obvious reason for why it's failing so miserably Sad

I'll keep on it from time to time (no pun intended...)

I set the clock manually. Seems I'm not getting any responses from primary ntp servers. Bizarre. Hopefully the clock drift won't be so bad.
