Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to paste an image (copied from e.g a webpage) directly into the body of a neooffice document? I have tried to do that but only the link appears instead. Thanks! |

Try using 'paste special' from the Edit menu rather than just command+paste. If you do that you will see a dialogue which offers you a choice of pasting either unformatted text (the URL) or a bitmap (the image). Choose the bitmap and NeoOffice will paste in the image from the clipboard.

if memory serves (i am at work on a PC...) this is dependent on the browser as well as neo...
i would try just drag and dropping the image into neo, and if not, then a save as... (then at least you know it will work)
when i get home i'll play with it some.

Just trying to boost your posting numbers, eh? It looks like your post went through without any problems. I never thought of using Paste-Special to add a picture from the web. Just make sure that you have permission if you are posting the picture to another public space.
