I'm stuck on OS X 10.1.5 on my laptop ... is there ANY hope of getting ANY version of OpenOffice running on this machine? I'd even settle for one of the old betas (pre 1.0). Could I install the Linux PPC version? Help! |

=\
it looks like as far back as 1.0.1 that 10.2 was required. i went and looked around and most of the word processors i know of were at least 10.2 as well...
if you don't mind using classic mode, i know there was a version of wordperfect that is availible (for free). the link is at home though.
MS Office will work on 10.1... but don't take that as a reccomendation =D

How can you be "stuck" at 10.1?
10.4 installs on all Macs with built in firewire.
10.3 installs on all Macs with built in USB.
10.2 installs on all G3 Macs before that... |

Wallet incompatibility? - seems to me the most likely reason for not upgrading is not having the money to do so I'd also be stuck in 10.1.x if I hadn't had the 3x £90 to get me through to 10.4. I sympathise...
