Before discovering NeoOffice/J, I installed OpenOffice 2.0 with X-11 so that I could work with MS Office files. I don't believe I need both. Is there a "preference switch" somewhere in OpenOffice 2.0 w/X-11 which controls its on/off function? Also, is it correct that NeoOffice/J is every bit as compatable with MS Office as OpenOffice 2.0 w/X-11? In other words, is there any reason to have both applications on my Mac? I prefer to stick with NeoOffice/J.

You can keep both side by side. Which one one you want to use is roughly personal preference. OOo 2.0 X11 has some features not in Neo 1.x, such as the rewritten database functionality. On the flip side, if you're exchanging documents with a lot of Mac users, Neo has native font compatibility and can render documents much closer to Office v.X/2004 as a result.
