|
Hi
The (system-wide) shortcut to access the menubar and menubar items, ctrl+F2, does not work. (This worked fine in later incarnations of Neo/J using old Java implementation)
I tried to add, or 'activate', a bug entry in the bugzilla but the server seems down.
Cheers

Pressing Ctrl-F2 works for me on my Panther machine. Do you have any special menu add-ons or haxies running?

Also, if you are running Mac OS X 10.4.3, pressing Ctrl-F2 in any application does not make a menu appear. Instead, it will only highlight the Apple symbol in the menubar. This is not a NeoOffice bug but is a change in how Mac OS X 10.4.3 handles the Ctrl-F2 shortcut.

10.4.3, Neo 1.2a6, works perfectly here.
Maybe you have a laptop and forget to press the Fn key also? |

Sorry to not have made all data available.
Running a PowerMac G4 single 1 MHz mirrored drive doors with 1,25 GB RAM under 10.4.3.
I am not using any 'system enhancements'. (I did once use Silk to get smooth type in an application that otherwise had unbaringly uggly type rendering, but since I no longer use this app I have removed all haxies from my system)
Have Neo 1.2 alfa patch 6 applied with restart of computer.
Yes, pressing ctrl+F2 in Finder or eg Safari makes the blue apple in the menubar selected. It is then possible to choose from the menus using the arrow keys.
What further data shall I chase down to help in finding the cause?

Hi again
Made a new restart of the computer.
Now the menubar short cut is working as expected.
Sorry for the noise.
