Hrm. It seems the phpbb code running our forums has gotten clever at generating a summary page of recent changes that do not reflect the actual changes in the forums. What a bummer since I actually rely on that "new post" stuff to pare down what I need to read.
I'll take a look at why it is so but may have issues. I suspect this may be due to some bug in phpbb regarding renaming or reordering forums (which was done recently).
