All:

I am trying to troubleshoot BugZilla 835, where the save as dialog is selecting the wrong file names and trying to confirm this behaviour. FWIW, I have never encountered this problem with the exception of files with periods in the file name (where MacOSX is truncating the file name to the first period.)

I need a file that repeatedly exhibits this behaviour or if you have a system that shows this problem, I need the OS flavor (Tiger is up to 10.4.4 BTW). Please update the BugZilla only, please.
