Hi, Does OO have to be installed on the system partition? I didn't and the startup app quits. The crash log shows this,

Try nuking the fonts directory as this tends to happen while freetype is parsing a corrupted font, espeically a zero-length font which can be the result of fondu trying to convert some of the OS X Asian fonts. This applied to 1.x at least.

Thanks for the suggestion, but now I get a different error.
What I did was sent the 'fonts' folder to the trash.
Now I get this;

- cannot be started due to an error in accessing the configuration data
- please contact your system administrator
- the following internal error has occurred: GetStorage, name; "no content!

Should I have just trashed the contents of the folder?
Thanks for helping, Dennis
