I just installed a NeoOffice patch, I guess NeoOffice is now in its Beta stage (hooray!). The patch was for Beta, but I have Alpha; I thought that after I installed the patch, my NeoOffice would automatically change into Beta. So I opened a Text Document and at the top of the window, it said, "NeoOffice 1.2 Alpha," not Beta. Do I have to reinstall NeoOffice if I want the Beta version, or is my computer being silly?
I just did a clean install of Neo 1.2 Alpha, ran it, quit it, and then installed Neo 1.2 Beta Patch-0. When I started Neo after installing the patch, the titlebar shows Neo 1.2 Beta.
Is your Neo installation not in the /Applications folder? Did you install the patch while Neo was running?

Did you quit NeoOffice before or at least after installing the patch? Changes won't take effect before restarting the program...
My update from latest 1.2 Alpha to 1.2 Beta patch 0 went just fine and smoothly. The Beta -text appeared on the title bar when the NeoOffice was started.
