This is very good news.

Yes, very much so. And Kudos to Florian, Eric, Daniel and Stephan!

Let's not forget Pavel Janik. He has been a moving force in the OpenOffice for MacOSX team.

Also, Maho Nakata has been very busy as of late and trying to keep his cvs site up that provides alternates to the OpenOffice.org cvs. He has a few experimental patches (that sometimes break things) that have not gone through formal OpenOffice QA.

The code for OOo X11 Mac Intel is now available in cws macintel01, based on m151. Although there are many rough edges, you might be lucky to be able to compile it without additional patches.

Ed & others: If you are interested in working with Mac Intel port and your work is within the scope of OOo X11, I'd really suggest you to work with the OOo people. You only need to file bugs and attach relevant patches, all the rest is taken care of for you. Just announce the bugs in mac@porting list or here. This would help everybody.

Of course, if it is specifically NeoOffice code, unrelated to X11, then the normal neo business as usual...

The related issues are (not all in cws):
Quote:
(from EricB's mail)
- Add new architecture in solenv : unxmacxi for Mac Intel 61026
- Detect Mac OS X Intel architecture in configure: 60955
- cppu : add Mac OS X with Intel cpu's for alignement: 60956
- Adapt libsalextra_x11 for both Mac Intel and PowerPC: 61029
- Mac Intel : epm breaks the packaging process: 60960
- Mac Intel : break in sndfile: 61060
- Add new bridge for Mac Intel on bridges modules: 61027

Please do not use curl. I'll complete later with a better patch :
Mac Intel: add curl to be built as Universal Binary: 60958

This is for OpenOffice.org 2.0 builds. First, let's get the 1.1.5 stuff fixed and NeoOffice 1.2 finalized.
