Thanks. Mail arrived, account activated. Will see, what I can do (and if I have questions, I'll post them here).
See you!

Yessica's been doing a nice bit of updating of the German wiki today...among other things, we now have an up-to-date Feature Comparison in all 3 of our languages! Smile

Danke!

Smokey

Since we haven't had any German-speaking folks around trinity on a regular basis in quite a while, I commented out the line on the De:NeoOffice Support page that talks about "regulars who speak German to help with translation issues." I'm not sure if it's coincidence that we've had a couple of German posts in the forum this week or if people are reading that page, but I'd rather err on the side of caution.

As a follow-up, I removed the reference to German speakers in the English version of the same page.

Are there other languages we should remove from that list?

Oh, I'd forgotten about that; good catch!

I think we're OK on everything except maybe Italian; I haven't seen Valter or Rodrigo around very recently, but I'm not sure that they're not watching. Let's keep Italian for now.

I would be able to spend some time updating the german translation.

I am a native german speaker, though i have not done a lot of translating yet, so it would be kind of a challenge.

If you could use my help, please set up a wiki account for me.

Thanks

Hooray! The German wiki has fallen rather out-of-date over the past few years, so we'd love to see it being updated again!

Can you please send me a private message (the little "pm" button at the bottom of this post) with the info necessary to create an account (from point 3 on the wiki New User page, and I'll get your account set up Very Happy

Danke shön!

Smokey

Yes I did Smile
Although I already stopped again, to first translate the Website. This probably has a greater priority.

I have a question concerning the Installation Issues page. In the paragraph "Can I have two versions of NeoOffice installed simultaneously?" I am unsure what N.B. means. Can someone give me a hint?

Thanks

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nota_Bene

I'm not sure why we started using the Latin term in the wiki, but we did, and it's become rather widespread Smile

Thanks again for all the improvements you've been making in the German wiki!

Thanks Smokey,

I probably could have found out for myself, but well... I didn't.
