OK. My build completed, although as you would expect I was not able to assemble the final package & disk image.

BTW I noticed that the HEAD branch nows says Aqua_Beta; does it mean that the Aqua widgets are now built by default ?

No, they're not yet enabled by default yet. I'm still working on build errors and need to fix the 10.3 build support.

OK.

BTW I see that NeoOffice 2.0 Beta has already been "announced" in the Wiki Smile :

OK, fixed up the DLLSUFFIX stuff in the makefile and committed it. Build is successful, but I don't know if the resulting dimage is installable.

Heh, that was just me renaming the Intel relnotes page after I migrated the one Intel patch to the main Alpha relnotes page. (It's not linked from anywhere, other than, well, here Wink )

Yup, the dimage will fail after installation in the initial bootstrap loader. Not sure what's precisely failing as there's no info to the console. Will need to spend more time investigating.

At least we're sure that the Wiki will be up to date when Beta is released. However, I think the release will be officially named 2.0 Aqua Beta (at least that's how the non-working disk images are labeled).

I haven't made any further progress on this yet. After getting a 10.3 machine I've shifted into correcting the widgets.

FYI, Patrick found and fixed the crasher today. Turns out it was a bug in the custom memory allocator used by OOo (yes, other devs, choke it back...). The custom memory allocator is now disabled and things should load normally.

I cvs updated my HEAD build but when I invoke make (make all) I get the following message :

Code:
make: Nothing to be done for `all'.

I suppose I should delete some of the build.neo files to trigger a rebuild of the relevant portions of Neo ?

Yes. You must delete the appropriate build.* file to get something to rebuild. I do this on purpose to prevent inadvertant mass rebuilding of things that don't really need rebuilding. The downside is that you need to decide what to rebuild based on what has been updated in your last cvs update.
