A gross omission from Neo Office is the Mac scroll pointers.
They are Windows fashion Top Right for Up, Bottom Right for Down.
Horizontal, they are Bottom Left and Bottom Right.

Mac should be all four together, Bottom Right, or advise me if this is already available.

I am a new user of about four weeks and I find it intuitive to use, but that non Mac appearance jarrs.

Rome wasn't built in a day either...

Please understand that NeoOffice is a work in progress. If and when it is finished, it will look like a Mac app. This will be a little while longer. In the mean time, just rough it.

So, you've been around for four weeks, posted here, and didn't even check out the topic that was at the top of the forum? (scrollbars are 5 pages in or so)

Keep your pantyhose on. It's not ready yet. But it's coming and it'll make X11 look like yucca flats after the blast.

Welcome to NeoOffice forums. Glad to have you visit.

You may want to check-out more information about OpenOffice.org / NeoOffice history, and why the user interface is the way it is. The NeoWiki is a good place to start: http://neowiki.sixthcrusade.com/index.php/NeoOffice

The primary goal of NeoOffice to port OpenOffice.org to the Mac and provide a better Mac User Interface. "Better" takes time. grin

Welcome to NeoOffice. We hope that you find it as useful as many of us do.

Philip (NeoOffice is works better than AppleWriter and MS Office for me Wink )

That is hilarious. Actually I liked Sid Meiers' Alpha Centauri much better. Nice storyline and reasonably balanced. I managed to get a score of 978% on that game (or something, I could have gone over 1000). I wish I could get a Mac version of that one...

Best wishes,
Oz

I have bought a brand new Alpha Centauri for a small price a few months ago. And it does run on OS X Smile
But it's a french version, sorry Confused
