Has anyone else had difficulty with the (otherwise excellent) TextToColumns add-on with the Intel 2.0 alpha 4?

Specifically, it won't let me select/create a divider in the "fixed lenght" dialog. The "field separator" side is just fine, though.

Or is it just me?

Can you post a link to this add-on?

Of course:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=87718&package_id=104183

This same package works fine on OO windows version...
I think it worked on the ppc neo version.

Wow, that macro was seriously in need of documentation! Nifty, but in need of even the sparsest of docs Sad

Once I figured out how to install it and ran it, it does work in Neo 2 Alpha 4 PPC. For those of you with Intel Macs, here's how to test:

1) Download the package from the post above.
2) In Neo, choose Package Manager… from the Tools menu
3) Click add, then select the .zip file from the filepicker and hit "Open"
4) Package Manager installs the thing; close Package Manager.
5) In your spreadsheet, select some cells with some text in them
6) Choose Run Macro… from the Macros sub-menu of the Tools menu
7) Expand "My Macros" and then expand "TextToColumns" and click on "Main"
8. In the right pane (Macro Name), click on "Main" and then click "Run".
9) Select "Fixed lenght fields"
10) In the preview box at the bottom, click somewhere in the text and see if a separator (a vertical series of | characters) appears.

I really have no idea where the bug is, if others can repro on Neo on Intel. It could be a Neo bug, an OOo-Mac-Intel bug, or a bug in the macro that appears on the Intel Mac platform.... Sad Since there are no Intel builds of OOo/X11 2.0.2 to use for comparison, if others can repro, you can probably file a bug in Neo's Bugzilla.
