Pretty misguided, if you ask me. The site is obviously aimed at people who have gone somewhere by mistake (see the adresses). As soon as (after a few seconds) they realize their mistake, they could very well apply the thought to the entire site, thus bringing them even further away from their goal.

There are a lot of odd sites that have cropped up as mistypo-urls for us too. My friend was telling me about them last night, but I have no need to go look for ad-parked typo pages myself
