Okay, just getting something off my chest here - more and more often, I do a search in google for something and all I get in the first page are links to 'find the best deal'-type metasearch sites. Fine, they're serving a purpose. But now there's the new, improved Stealth version that looks like a shop until you get to the site, and then it turns out to be a metasearch engine site - and all the links on it's first page are? Yes, more metasearch sites. Enough, already.

I could not agree more. I've taken to loading up 50 entries in my searches, because I know most of the first 20 to 30 will be stuff I don't want [including those @#&* meta-search pages where you get a bland note about your topic and links to related sellers of stuff, none of which have ever had anything remotely of interest to me.
