Is there a way to turn to make it so that text, for instance from Safari, is pasted without formatting into NeoOffice? I think OOo has an option for this. I'm using a MacBook, if that matters. |

Try using the Edit -> Paste Special menu and selecting "Unformatted text".

If you prefer using keyboard shortcuts to paste, the shortcut for "Paste Special..." is Cmd-Shift-V.

How about the opposite? When I paste or paste special the only option I have is unformatted text, even if I have HTML on my clipboard. What am I missing? I can paste images with the newer patch, but when I try a webpage with links and images, it comes across as plain text. |

Depends on the app you're copying from. Not all applications will provide styled text on the clipboard. Are you trying from Safari, or from some other app?

Good to know. I hadn't even tried Safari. I was trying to paste from Firefox. Safari works fine. |

Gecko doesn't support styled text on the clipboard on Mac OS X
